Maintenance

Better maintenance guarantees a better cup of coffee!

It is important to understand the role of cleaning your machine and how it contributes to producing exceptional coffee every time. Brewing a great cup of coffee depends on many factors—not just the quality of the coffee. Having well-maintained equipment and the quality of the water all have an impact on the taste of your coffee. Cleaning your coffee machine is equally important as buying good quality beans. If your coffee machine is not cleaned regularly you will not only produce poor tasting coffee – it will also shorten the life of the seals and filters.

Water Filtration:

We recommend having a water filtration system to all of our customers.  Having a water filtration system offers two benefits:

  • Equipment breakdown is reduced by as much as 75%
  • Filter water improves the overall taste of your coffee

Water filtration removes chemicals, sediment, minerals and organic matter!

Cleaning your Coffee Brewer:

Cleaning your Espresso Machine:

Your espresso machine may be producing coffee that tastes “funky”.  Cleaning the “shower head” in the group area is the easiest part. Cleaning the group head is best done with a brush.  The gasket around the head will degrade fast if its dirty, we recommend to wipe and clean the head frequently.  Do not put the group head in the dishwasher.

Items required for cleaning espresso machine:

  • Espresso machine cleaner (back flush detergent)
  • Blind Filter for group handle
  • Clean microfiber cloth
  • Group head brush

The Proof is in the Pour!
